In this interesting post Ms. Tartakovsky presents an interesting list of tips to help you cope with ADHD. As with all such lists your results may vary and you need to find what works for you.

1. Accept your diagnosis. 

2. Practice good self-care. 

3. Get enough sleep. 

4. Use pill containers. 

5. Control your impulses. 

6. Keep a “master list.

7. Keep a planner. 

8. Cut clutter. 

9. Seek support. 

10. Set alarms. 

11. Keep a clock in the shower. 

12. Just say no. 

Some on the list are too obvious that we instinctively know – but how many of us actually do them regularly?

Some seem ludicrous: If I could control my impulses than I wouldn’t have ADHD.

As a whole along with the explanations they can provide a good start to helping you cope.
